On August 25th a small black male was trapped at Tivoli Terrace with the assistance of Merlin and Deanna Allan (Thanks you! Thank you!). He was delivered to Destin Cat clinic for examination, a full set of shots, and neutering. We returned him to Tivoli Terrace that evening. Forgot to get a picture of him...

Trapping Activities August 17 through 19 - 2009 - updated
Update 8pm, August 19
Either through good intentions or malicious intent, the last gray kitten (anchorage gk3) was released from the trap and all surrounding traps were sprung, preventing us from attracting and trapping the mothers or the other offspring.
----------------------
A lot of time has been spent this week at the Anchorage in Sandestin trying to identify the feral cats and kittens that have been reported. At this point we know of 2 adult females that need to be trapped and fixed. We have counted 6 kittens.
As of this afternoon we have managed to trap 5 of the 6 kittens and all look young, healthy, and good candidates for foster and adoption. The kittens are solid gray (3) and solid black (2).
